Commonly human beings suffer from lust, greed and anger. And, this is called normal health and sanity.
Your boyfriend is thinking of God, to be sure. Can anything wrong happen to one thinking of the Almighty?
Fortunate indeed are the people who are in some way mad about God.

And, why should you rush to call it disorder?
Even if it is disorder, it is disorder pertaining to God
So, it will be cured by Him and not us the frail human beings.

That is it. You do not disturb him. Just relax and do not worry.
Keep praying and give more impetus to your own spiritual practices.
