Did you try sleeping in another room? :)
I think I know what you're talking about. See my story
in another post.

I'm familar with Laberge. I got his lucid dreaming goggles about 6 years ago.
They came with his book and and a manual on how to induce lucid states.

Is the issue one of lucidity? I mean when you say you are having an OBE
do you know what's going on like in a lucid dream?
Dreams are never frightening for myself if I am lucid.
I've been semi
lucid in the eyes open/frozen state but usually not good enough
for it to be experienced as pleasant.

Yes it is. And you and I are One. But since we experience
ourselves as convincingly separate most of the time I wonder
if there are ever any 'real' connections with 'other' spirits
or energies.

Reminds of Castanada's dreaming body.

Maybe it is possible for it to obtain lucidity in such states.
I would think it is. We may know at times and not even remember.

Thnx for the tip.

I literally shake my head and move my body to force awakening.
Many times I start to come out of it but then fall right back into it.
This can happen numerous times.
My experience is that it requires enormous energy to wake up.
It's a real fight.
Like the feeling you get when you have to wake up extra early times a thousand.
Or perhaps one's energy is low or dispersed?

When I was 5 my father told me to blink my eyes to wake from dreams.
It worked/works.

I agree with that.

I have a sense by putting it out to the list and people discussing it
that may actually help.
Happy Dreams/ Happy Awakening,
David
