Dear Acara,
Interesting that we interpret this differently. I see it as an ability to experience "other worlds," but ultimately seeing them as metaphor--an ability to keep grounded to a degree so as to be able to close the door and leave the other world behind at will. A psychotic episode, I feel, is when we treat the experience not only literally but are unable to come back to "ordinary" reality.

Or one can simply accept that one is going mad and not fear it.

I really liked (I think it was) Jason's take on this. That we accept many of these experiences as real, but we should be careful acting on them! :))

Or both at the same time. I personally feel both are true. I can't account for the paradox. :)) I have no fear of dust to dust.

Or simply realizing it is just there.
