Yes, Jason...exactly! I don't know if it is out of terror, but due to the
limitations of vocabulary, at least for me, for others it may be different.
How I have come to understand it, duality brings us into consciousness in the
physical and the self exists in a place of nonduality. So yes, we use
physical images to translate in the physical, the hang up it seems is in how
we each translate an image: when I think of Queen Ann's Lace, I think of a
nursery rhyme I heard when I was little, someone else might think of a weed
they were always having to pull, and someone else would think of lovely
bouquet they once saw in a window. Do you know that phrase, it goes
something like: poetry coming from a place between the lines? Yes, that is
the self, the divine. This is how I have come to translate it. H-m-m-m-m,
female and male energy, there is a lot of power in the combination of the
two. That doesn't mean that a gay couple wouldn't feel a lot of energy in a
coming together. There is probably a predominately male and female energy
represented there. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. Since I am not
gay it would be best not to suppose. Thank you for your input. Namaste,
Kimberly
