Hmmm... Mystress Angelique, you presuppose I have a parade and that you can rain on it. You wasted your thunder. We have grave differences, philosophically and spiritually. Probably the best we can do is agree to disagree. I thought to disregard your post, but am responding.
First, I believe we do live in an abundant universe; that when we have feelings of lacking, that we are forgetting our Divine right and engaging in the illusion of this plane. When we cross the River Leathe and incarnate on this plane, often the heavier vibrations cause us to "forget" our Divine birthright.
On this point we do agree, we do not control what is known as kundalini, in the sense you are saying...as a power struggle. We channel the energy by centering ourselves and assuming the stance of the White Tara, boon giving and fear dispelling. Divine Love flows through us.
Metaphysics simply means beyond the physical. You are engaging in a religion: I see the New Age as a quantum leap and in energic terms. Are you aware of the 100 Monkey theory? This is the easiest way to explain what I see as our spiritual responsibility as we journey on this plane. The 100 monkey phenomena stated simply, is that whenever an x-factor number of a species makes a leap in consciousness, for instance, a group of monkeys taking up the practice of washing sand off sweet potatoes, the entire energic body of the species alters and takes a quantum leap forward. In other words, the DNA is altered. The word Tantra means "what extends knowledge." Then, it is a dynamic, not a stagnant teaching, either philosophically or in religious application.
In the West, we have the same dynamics. Christianity has such an impact on awareness, let's go there. I am not a Christian, but do reverend Christ as a Master. I believe it as taken 2000 years and the turning of the age to understand the meaning of Christ's teachings. To open to Christ Consciousness is much the same. Here are a couple of examples: "If the eye be single, let it be filled with Light." He is speaking of the third eye, not a person with one eye. Again in speaking of the miracles Christ manifest, He says, "These things and many more you will do." I take this to mean, "If you have the faith of a mustard seed" WE can feed a hungry multitude, heal the sick, walk on water, or calm an angry sea. Many Masters are reported to have achieved these and other "miracles." Logically, if it can be done once, twice, many times, then these miracles can be repeated. Hmmm.... wonder how the Masters do that.....Whispering the answer: by channeling energy.
Are you able to channel energy? You spoke of karma and responsibility. Now, from this perspective, if you are capable of channeling Divine Love and Peace to a world about to engage in World War III, and you choose not to...Hmmm....could your judgment be on you?
You think to divest yourself of responsibility by calling on Goddess. Glad to hear that works for you. Some of us are more willing to take the responsibility and to embrace the gift and miracles of the age we are incarnated in now. The caduceus is an ancient symbol for kundalini and for healing; you know the one in front of the medical clinics. The two twining streams of energy coil around the axial staff. This ancient symbol delights. It actually looks like our DNA. One female, ascending, one is male, descending. Rather than opposites, I see these as contraries in a Blakian sense.
I get the impression that you think you are being progressive when calling on the Goddess in a western society. This is your faith and your religion. Religion is a form, a path that leads us toward the Divine. It is not the spirit itself. I fondly think of these religious paths that cling to opposites, of either patriarchal or matriarchal, as the Big Mama and No Ba Daddy religions. And it is not New Age Awareness.
To me in your instruction, this is what it sounded like: Hey, Big Mama, this is your spiritually challenged Little Lamb talking to you again. I know you have shown me some tricks over the last Age on how to do this energy thing, but I'm afraid I'll do it wrong and I am too little to take responsibility for my actions. You do it, okay? I'll just go out and play....jeez.

I would ask you, Mysteress, who told you to withhold any help you might offer in a world torn with war and hunger? I pray that more will achieve the White Light and the ability to channel it, and to not be instructed by fear of retribution or karma-- That they will make the quantum leap into the awareness that we do have a responsibilities on this plane... That we are capable of raising the vibrations of the plane... That we are One in the Light...That we are Children of the Light...for so we are. Blessings, Acara
