I love that Rich..... now that's what I call a change of scenery! And it inspires me. Are you working with computers there? Where in Bangkok are you living? I love Thailand and will definitely be there sometime this year, so we'll have to hook up for a beer when I come. Thanks for the info on Kundalini Yoga that will be helpful in directing me and I think your fluctuating experiences with this practice are hardly surprising. The effectiveness of anything is normally dependant on a number of factors being in line at any one time. So naturally the experience will ebb and flow depending on where one is... physically, mentally, spiritually, emotionally, etc. I am learning that the act of doing anything is not so much about the result but more to do with the process. Our actions are an expression of who we are in the moment rather than an expression of what we are becoming. I suppose it's the same principal as thanking God for what we have rather than what we want during our prayers. I can feel what I mean, Im not so sure I am expressing myself clearly. Well listen Rich, thanks for the info and I really do wish you well in beautiful Thailand. Thailand certainly does have a shadow side but I found that gave the place much character and vibrancy. Its all there to experience and so accessible too. If you get a chance Master Mantak Chia has a retreat just a few miles outside of Chiang Mai. I spent a few days there last year. www.tao-garden.com Not only is it idyllic and the facilities superb, but he does some wonderful courses on the Healing Tao. Charles x

I´m actually living in Bangkok now would you believe it! I think Thailand is a beautiful place in many ways, although of course there are some not so beautiful aspects. But I´m quite content here. You know I couldn´t decide about London or somewhere else and actually asked you about London when we had a chat online once with MAS.

And I got a Thai sweetheart, but would you believe it I met her in England 4 weeks before I was due to leave. Funny how things turn out sometimes :)

To answer your question, I´ve been practicing this form of yoga on and off. There is a real expert (Pieter Schoonheim Samara) that used to be on the k-list (not sure if he re-subscribed). He´s been doing it for about 22 years and is quite open and interesting in his discussion. I´ll forward the e-mails in fact. I´ve had some amazing experiences doing this form of yoga as well as times where it felt it was a waste of time.

>I think it´s about catching the right thing at the right time to address the right thing within oneself. Does that make any sense.. Well sometimes I just get a good technique and feel a whole lot better and other times it feels like I can try everything and nothing seems to make a difference. More on that in a later post I think!
