Great dream and experience for you Daniel. I read you dream with rapture and also Shankar's response (super post Shankar). I'd like to add this thought for you to what Shankar posted. A tradition of tantric yoga is very alike the modern methods of psychotherapy, popularized by Jung. You are engaged in both and seem to intuitively make the connection, hopefully this will assist you.
The "Dream Yoga" is taught to "control" the dream state and the relationship to the waking state. In the dream state one conquers their fears: you praise and degrade yourself. In this mirror you hold up, you are passing through the illusion. In other words, you overcome your fears "rooted" in the illusion. (In your dream you were doing both of these things.) The Dream Yoga ability is associated with the fourth and fifth chakra energy. You hold the awareness during dreaming that no harm can come to you and in so doing conquer ego expressions and the baggage of fears.
Also, the issues of your dream were primary root chakra issues. As you well know this is also where the kundalini energy begins the ascendsion through the axial stem. In your dream state and you made the leap to transcend the illussion when you were on the ledge-- you were controlling your dream state, Daniel. Ego expression and accompanying fears were transcended. You literally rose above the individual existence to non-ego. This is the Diamond Body, which many call the "white light" in Occidental terms.
