I have just uploaded a photograph to the group site under files, a
photograph I took on December 31, 2002. I took it just after the sun set
on Playwicki Farm. This photo was taken at a spot in the Farm where I first
stood in
Homage To All That Is back in October, when I first joined this list.
Although I walk in the Park most of the time now, I wanted to go back to the
Farm as my way to end 2002...
Only this time, I am on my knees In Homage To All That Is.
It is beyond twilight now and the Farm is supposed to close at sundown.
As I kneel, I sing the Asato Maa, Upanishad, 1st Adhyaya, 3rd Brahmana,
28th mantra.

Then I am silent. As Sri Ramana Maharshi says...the grace is always there.
It's not always Shakti grace intense in her pursuits.
It is the sweet grace that comes with the Shaantih of Silence

Thank you, Ravi Shankar, for your beautiful melody to Asato Maa in Chants of
India.
Thank you, God, for everything.
Thank you, Earth Mother, for All That Is...
When I was done, I took my last photo of the evening.
It was the last one on the roll of film, an extra shot, if you will.
No number, just the one after 24.
