Yes, I remember your story. I'm often on no mail/web only, so
I'm not up on all the recent threads, but I related to yours
because I also had a K psychosis period that made people think
I was nuts. In retrospect, I can't blame anybody, but you, I and
many people on this list know we weren't mentally ill.

I've taken to the term "spiritual emergency" because at a certain
phase there's a powerful sense of urgency - that something's going to
happen, the end of world, the second coming (of what?), the new
age, a mass UFO landing. One is compelled to talk about it. The visions
are both personal and archetypal. It kinds of freaks people out when
you verbalize what you are experiencing because we say it with a
straight face... and people who know us well, know when we
telling the truth. At the time of our transformations, we *are* telling
the truth because we *experiencing* our truths (as they
transform at the time). However exotic, they strike a chord with
others.

We briefly became the most articulate, convincing nut cases on
the planet. And we were on to something - what that something
is, seems best left as a open question, but I still believe that we
had a sudden preview of the future.

I'm glad your brother made amends with you. Forgiveness is
so beautiful.

Also glad to be among others flew the coup. What a long, strange
trip it's been.
