Hello fellow Mystics and friends of Goddess

Just a friendly reminder that this evening the Winter
Solstice begins and lasts for 24 hours. This means that
during this 24 hour span we experience the shortest day of
sunlight of the year in the Northern Hemisphere. On
this day we are pointed as far away from the sun as it gets.

In times past this was a day for festivals and celebrations
as the days are now going to be getting longer, indicating
that Spring is around the corner and the blossoming of life
is about to begin anew.

I hope everybody can take time out from their busy Christmas
shopping and visiting schedules to pray, meditate, or
journey a bit in thanks and praise of Creation and our
ability to be a part of it in the here and now.
