Hi Shelle

I know how you feel. This is a bit of what I felt with my psychotherapist,
who is supposed to be a transpersonal psychotherapist versed in the
spiritual as well as the psychological and emotional. Needless to say, she
still hasn't 'got it', and I am ending with her on my terms rather than hers
(ie next week rather than end of January).

It's frustrating, but I think Jose's advice to 'trust yourself' is the best
advice. Keep searching until you find a teacher who you know intuitively
understands yoga on a deeper level, more than just the asanas and breathing
postures. You might consider trying to find a teacher from the Swami
Sivananda school of Hatha Yoga. In my experience, they are fairly
well-versed in the more "spiritual" matters.
