The first thing that comes to my mind with regard to Kundalini and the Bible is the description of "the dove" descending to lite on Jesus' head, where it remained for some time. According to Ravi Ravindra in "Christ the Yogi," this is the instant of Jesus' awakening and when he became The Christ. The second Kundalini event that comes to my mind is the description of the tongues of fire descending on the disciples' heads at the first Pentecost.

There are a multitude of other events and stories that are obviously involving Kundalini. For example, in the Old Testament when Jacob wrestles with "a man," becomes transformed and God changes his name to Israel. Another event is when Jesus speaks with a Samaritan woman at a well and recognizes her state of awakening. Hebrews, John, the Letters of Paul and Revelations are loaded with references to Kundalini -- in my interpretation. You might want to pick up Sri Yukteswar's book, "The Holy Science," which provides direct references to the Bible in relation to Hindu beliefs. (Sri Yukteswar was Paramahansa Yogananda's guru. In fact, many of Yogananda's writings discuss awakening in relation to the Bible.)

I was wondering here.. What does the bible say about the kundalini
power? What and where is it hidden? Is kundalini the beginning of all
sin in a form of a snake guarding the apple tree of wisdom? (sounds not
so nice) Or is kundalini the very same thing as the holy spirit,
something very good, coming closed to the God? Is it the Christ
consciousness awaking up in everyone of us? The second coming of the
Christ?
Or what do you, my friend, think?
I?m very intrested about the general opinion on this. I?m not so
religious, but still I believe that there are some good words in the
Holy book (and in all holy books of every religion or belief system).
