Dear Elise,

Do what your heart tells you to do in the moment. That is what is
important for you no matter how much people may try to change your
mind to their point of view based on their own values and
judgements.

This is one of those polarizing arguments on this list like we have
about food, sex, religion and politics as often as the seasons
change. You can tell how intimately a subject is identified with
people's lives by how it polarizes them. It cycles through...people
get their knickers in a bundle like me, vent off a lot of steam,
some leave the list in a huff and some stay and stick it out because
all communities have disagreements. The Elysian Fields this is not.
Nothing personal. We are just beating up our projections of each
other.

If people want to charge let them charge. Those who don't want to
charge, don't. There is a huge market for both paradigms. It's a
waste of time and energy to try to change people's minds on this
subject when they are convinced of the moral rightness of where they
stand. And why should we? Opinions are like noses. Everyone has one
and it *is* just an opinion not law. One of the truisms on the path
of self development is to learn to choose your own battles. Walk
away from conflict and leave them guessing and judging about you. ;)

How silly, isn't it? All this infighting about healers talking about
the economics of their professions and getting all pissy about
it...including me :D Sounds like k is doing one of her regular
emotional bodies housecleaning on the list.

Being true to your genuine heart's whisperings? How can that ever be
wrong?

It just is what it is.
