If Mystress asks for money what is the harm she has a good heart but needs
to make a life for herself too so why should the world take advantage of her
precious time. If you want to talk about materialism and turning away people
in the world look at our medical community out there. How many doctors turn
patients away for lack of medical insurance for there enourmous fees? I know
I have been turned away many times. The first question that is asked is do
you have insurance not what can I do to help you or are you dying? Dont get
me wrong there are good doctors out there that work for pennies but they are
a bit hard to find we live in a very material world.
People just assume that spiritual healers need to live out of a card board
box on the street with scaps becuase they need nothing in the world but love.
That is soo not true although there are healers that charge a bit too much
(especially in the Reiki field) that is between them and the universe.
I am living on a one person income with a hubby and 2 kids myself and am
barely getting by but unlike many of the money hungry people out there in
the world Mystress out of her heart gave me a healing that was WONDERFUL and
has given me countless amounts of advice that has done me wonders, not once
did she mention that she was expecting payment. She did not have to do this
but she did. Now in my mind I am thinking she needs some sort of compensation
for her time it is based on an energy for an energy or money for a service
thing. I have an incredible amount of guilt that I could not afford to pay
her at the time, but I hope to be able to do so someday.
Now me personally, I am an energy healer and I teach Reiki and other systems
to many people. I chose not to charge at this time but if you knew how
much time I devoted to the materials and website and all I have created to
teach my students and payed me an hourly wage I could support my family with
much more ease for sure. Someday I will have to go back to work and I do
have intentions of charging, not tons but enough to earn a bit more of a
living. Now I would never turn away people that can not afford my services
but in those cases I just want something given back to the universe in love.
This is something I will have to do to continue what I love otherwise I will
have to throw it out the door and go work full time at some remedial job
where I will be unhappy.
Anyway you have kind of found a topic I have great intrest in here because I
feel that all spiritual healers deserve the right to earn a living just as
medical docs or psychiatrists.
As far as how much she knows I think she proves her knowledge well as I know
she has helped me immensly and one thing I love about her is that she teaches
you to rely on Goddess and not someone else like many gurus do.
Anyway these are my opinions on the topic :)
