Subject: [K-list] Surrender vs. looking for help for chronic pain

Hi All

I understand the need for surrender. There is no doubt in my mind or
heart that surrender to the God/dess's will and release of the
limited view of the ego is very important. It has always been the
path which has brought me the greatest understanding and growth.

Yet I find myself in a situation where relentless physical pain has
been pushing me to the breaking point for months. I have altered my
diet to be even healthier than it already was. I have released
obligations that I could no longer meet. I have let go of my
expectations for what I thought I was going to be doing with my life
and I have accepted the fact that there are many things I enjoy that
I just can't do right now. I don't feel punished or persecuted. I
do get depressed sometimes and allow the grief to flow through.

I feel tremendously loved and cared for by Spirit. However I have
also been going to see different bodyworkers. I have spent hundreds
of dollars and released that as well. So now what? Do I just lie
around and wait to see what happens next? Do I spend hundreds more
dollars I don't have to try and find a better healer? So many of the
spiritual healers charge BIG money. Is it surrender to the God/dess
to struggle to find and pay someone to "fix" me? Or is real
surrender just trusting that I will be healed from this pain when
God/dess does it?
