First of all, you and your new family-to-be have been in my thoughts all day since I read your e-mail this morning. I send love and warm thoughts. But listen, you shouldn't trouble yourself with thoughts of fear and/or guilt at this time. You wrote:

In my thoughts lately, I've come to see how karma is the same as guilt. And since what you "think" you did in the past is, yes, in the past...it doesn't exist! You are the human being you are in this moment -- a wonderful, caring, generous, warm and loving individual. You were also that human being in the past, and will be in the future because only NOW exists.

And too, remember, SHE picked YOU! ;-) For whatever reasons which will only become clear to her in how-many-some years, she will learn whatever it is that you have to teach her. And boy, Jason! You will teach her nothing but love. You know that now, you've always known it. No worries.

Believe me, there are people in this world, myself included, who were given all the wrong tools. And what do the individuals souls do when handed wrong tools? They trade them in for the right tools, eventually. So here you are, ready, willing and able to give this little critter a full set of PlaySkool Life Tools, including the Special Love Bonus -- how do you think she'll turn out??

Please (can we stop you?) let us know how you all are doing. You are in my prayers.
