   I read once...

  it was in a bubble on "pop-up videos" (muchmusic) commenting on Alanis
Morrisette naked singing "thank you India"...

   That in India, it is considered rude to say thank you for a gift...
because gratitude is considered a form of payment that diminishes the
purity of the giving...

   So, no-thank you! :)
