Cute puppy,
worms burrow deep
into his eyes
till they bleed and
rupture cuteness everywhere.

Can't decide what to see anymore.
Whacks neurons smack!
Like that.
Without inference
or dissection.

Some part of the master filter
brain
shut-down overnight
and died,
rolling over
like a cute, dead puppy.

Before
it used to separate
like a live
nine-volt battery underwater,
oxygen from hydrogen...

Dead battery.

Now light floods in
unimpeded
'till it blinds
naked neurons exposed
like fresh born puppies
to ultra-violet light,
sterilizing every image clean
until blindness
transforms

...into vision.
