as a matter of recognition after the fact. He seemed uncomfortable when I
asked his name. This alarmed me, as I thought and expressed to him..why
don't you want to give me your name? He called me by my name and a nickname
too. So why did he hesitate with his name? I got the impression that he
thought his name had little significance. But, I also felt mistrust and
uncertainty and, to shut me up, he mumbled what I translated to "Allan."
Allan? No...Annan...that is what is sounded like to me. I even went to the
dictionary to see if there was anything close to this name that had some
meaning and found nothing to satisfy.
It was not until I found an article on the internet that referenced Sat Chit
Anand, and I immediately jumped onto Anand. He has not objected! I sense
that he has better things to think about. I had to go through the same
mistrust of the source of my ecstasy. When I was on the internet, I was led
to some articles which injected allegations of Satanism, eg, into theosophy.
This frightened me. Later, I found the same allegations about contemplative
prayer, that if you open and empty your mind, Satan will enter. That was
when I stopped wasting my energy on it.
Why? Because there was so much love...I kept coming back to that. There is
so much love. I have to trust this love. It could not come from somewhere
that was bad.
Love and Light,Joyce
