Hi everybody,

I seem to have contradicted myself here. Whoops! When I saw do unto
others as they need, this is assuming they have told you what they
need; obviously we can't guess at it unless we're mind readers.
Otherwise we should do as is according to our needs to do in any
given situation and be prepared to deal with negative reactions if
there are any. I apologize, I'm kinda thinking out loud. Just
remembering times I wasn't aggressive and direct because I was
thinking, 'Gee, I'd hate it if people acted that way towards me, so I
shouldn't do it to others.' Not realizing that to throw a tantrum
would have been best for me at the time. And I used to be insanely
forthright, honest and open with ppl cause I wanted them to be the
same towards me. Not realizing that a lot of people are uncomfortable
with openness, and prefer to be private. So I think as we develop
spiritually, we empathically tune into how ppl want to be treated,
BUT......we should still not compromise our own needs to give others
what they need. I guess we all have to learn how to fill our needs
from within, and we develop the ability to mirror what ppl are asking
for as we grow. So yeah, I'm more a fan of 'Do as thou wilt with
Love.'
