Hi Lisa,

I have always been very interested in stones of all sorts and they often
appeared in my dreams or visions just before a strong initiatory phase
or period. I don't believe you're too close so that your interpretation
could be biased at all. Although receiving input from others can be
helpful by giving you some hints, you might find after a few days that
you're first impressions may be a good way to go to base yourself on.
Because my ideas will come from my experience of what the symbols
represent based on my life experience. But of course, a little help from
friends is always useful and I know how eager we can get to find out the
meaning of something like this, so, here are my impressions. The stone
being around the third eye area tells us something about the
representation of this chakra. The tear-drop shape makes me think of
compassion. The polished finish of the stone speaks of refinement. The
nature of the stone itself, a black jade or onyx, gets a little more
complicated. Jade though is always refered to as being a very strong
symbol often compared to gold as to its virtues: being charged with
cosmic energies, brings protection and as you might know this stone is
very important in China, I believe that for them it is a symbol of
prosperity at all levels. Onyx is seen by Persian and Indian people as
being protective. I gotta say though that when reading you message I got
the image of a stone that is black and covered with tiny silver sparcles
which is called in French "pierre de lune", I don't know right now what
it's called in English unfortunately but I'll try to find it. In fact,
pierre de lune means moon stone and it is said that it brings serenity
to the soul, luminous introspection, creativity. I also wanted to add
that I sense that you are a very gentle, generous, kind spirit.
