I think that many things that happen can be explained chemically if we look at the results. But what ignites the chemical process?

What is the first cause? Is it only our mind? Latest neural research shows that our brains are hardwired to believe in what people call God.

Since one of the basic prinicples of anatomy is form follows function..i.e. parts are created to facilitate a specific function, why do we have this particular part in the brain that makes us search for God? What happened in our evolutionary past to create this part? We evolved our eyes, our hands, our upright stance to improve our chances of survival in our world. Why is having a brain hardwired to know and seek for god so essential to our survival?

In any case, looking to disprove or disallow something that our body thinks is essential to survival seems counterproductive.

Within the last 20 years we routinely cut out glands, like the tonsils, or even now a woman's uterus because we think them non-essential and in fact a hinderance to health. The appendix,spleen,and gallbladder are still routinely removed without much thought because they are considered non-essential, expendable.

What if the rising of kundalini is meant to activate this part in the brain that searches for God?
