The typo is reflective of the apparent contradiction. In Lori's case I
*was* taking credit: stepping out and saying "it was me", because she
directly asked who or what she had been talking to about being a
dominatrix, after visiting my site and writing to me asking for help.
The issue was her seeking external validation of what her intuition
already knew to be true. I accepted responsibility, and promptly handed it
back to her. She had sought out the experience, asked for it in words.
Goddess provides.

Usually I do not take credit or responsibility for what growing
people get from my spontaneous work. Taking credit is taking power, and as
Richard quoted, karma follows responsibility. Healers learn that an
attitude of being the vessel or channel of the Divine instead of the source
of what occurs, is a way to keep a low profile with regards to taking
responsibility for other people's karma. Save your liver.
Responsibility for what Is, belongs to Goddess. Keep that focus, and
the stuff that is released through the work, goes upward and transmutes,
instead of being passed horizontally, between people in power game dynamics.
Of course, in order to give something to Goddess, first you have to own
it. You cannot give what you do not own. You have to accept responsibility
for yourself, your actions, in order to surrender yourself. Accept that it
is something you are doing, that is triggering the results.
People write, to give me their power, karma and responsibility. Asking
for help, sharing thier problems with the belief that I can do something
about the situation. Handing it over to me. Giving me power and
responsibility, because some part of them is drawn to ask, knows I will
handle it well. Trust. By your faith are you healed.
If the letter is long and loaded, I have taken it on before I'm even
done reading... because I merge with what I focus on. Empathy follows
attention. My attention to reading connects us into one. Then I have to
process it, to clear it from myself. Accept the responsibility I have been
given, in order to pass the buck to Goddess. Karma follows hierarchies,
upward. Flows to where the buck stops.
Sometimes they only hand me one end of the stick, and there needs to be
negotiation to avoid a tug of war. They are wanting to let go of *this* but
not realizing the root issue or connection is to *this other* that is a
cherished ego belief. Ego is not logical in its attachments... but it can
be persuaded with reasons.
