I've just recently gone back to reading ACIM.

From what I take from ACIM
regarding perception
is that first we are to understand
that we don't know the meaning of it.

It is meaningless.

In this understanding
there's space for
Spirit (kundalini) which takes perception
and transforms it's purpose
from keeping one unaware of God
to the purpose of Healing
(remembering God).

There's no 'steering' of perception,
just the understanding
that it's meaning lies
beyond our awareness.

Spirit (kundalini)
does the 'steering'
if you will.

Of course there's
a dead way to go about this
(head in the sand)
and a lively way.
I sense the Course is alluding
to the latter. :)
