Dear RK,

Yes it was a request! :)) Thank you for this! It brought me to my copy of
Talks by Sri Ramana Maharshi.

"Whatever is born, is bound to die. Kill the ego: there is no fear of
recurring death for what is once dead. The Self remains even after the death
of the ego. That is Bliss--that is Immortality." p. 206

"And when asked "how is the ego to be destroyed?" the response was "hold the
ego first and then ask how it is to be destroyed. Who asks this question?
It is the ego. Can the ego ever agree to kill itself? This question is a
sure way to cherish the ego and not to kill it. If you seek the ego you will
find it does not exist. That is the way to destroy it. " p. 574

As David wrote a couple of days ago:

How does that which never existed to begin with
get killed?"

Talks was one of the first books I read after becoming K awake. His words
never fail to bliss me out! :))
