Ego is Self manifest,
and being manifest
is always limited.

Self manifests with both satanic
and divine qualities
mixed in some ratio
determined by that which lies
beyond ego.

Pure Self which is Intent.

Or to use slightly different terminology,
Self manifest as a blend of 'cool' and 'uncool'.

There is a simple test
egos can take
to access
how cool or uncool
it particularly is...
