<<A Course in Miracles explains free will as something that's given to us by our Creator. We use our free will to create the ego, the Great Separator and Protector from the knowledge of who we really are. The ego's death is the Remembrance, for once we remember who we really are, of course, there is no longer the need for ego, our small human creation.This doesn't make sense to me, so perhaps you can explain it. If we are all one, then there is no "creator", we are all-all that is. Also, what would be the point of free will, since it is the creator of the ego, which is a thing that seems to enslave us rather that help us exercise free will? And if we are already all that is, we encompass free will in that being, so there would be no need to "give" it to us.

We, the creator, would be bestowing free will, which we already have, upon ourselves so that we may enslave ourselves with ego.

What's the point? Sounds more like we create egos in order to have something to overcome, because maybe being all that is gets boring and we need a board game or something.
