Subject: [K-list] Re: Fate and Free Will

Not an easy question...one of the few eternal ones. Are we really making
decisions on our own? Is everything pre-programmed? Are we all really just
going through the motions?

I did a paper for my religious studies class last year on determinism and free
will. In summary, what I found was a case for determinism in the 4-dimensional
physical universe but not in any greater concept of existence.

IMO, the concept of randomness isn't as much a 4-dimensional concept as the
interaction between the 4-dimensional universe and other stuff. Is there true
randomness? I have no idea.
