Thats some powerful brain misfire indeed!

In an out of body experience (astral projection) you can visit a location in
physical existance, observe events, and verify what you've seen after
returning.

Monroe and his many 'explorer' volenteers, and myself included have
practiced this with consistant results. The easiest being to project, and
view a number placed much too high to reach physically by normal means (ie a
five digit number on a piece of cardboard placed on the roof) put there by a
willing participant.

Another good one is to go several blocks away to a parking lot of a mall.
For the purposes of verification you simply return at once and drive there
with one or two liscense plates, type and color of car, and location in
parking lot written on a piece of paper. Noting multiple cars is best, since
one or more may leave in a short period of time!

In any case these experiments are repeatable and yeild consistant results
with 100% accuracy of information if the projector reaches the target
successfully.

Because of such experiences I doubt misfiring of neurons is 'the answer' to
obes in general. Although misfiring of neurons does cause hallucinations-
one may believe he or she is experiencing a genuine-OBE.
