Question:
1. Did you have a spontaneous awakening, or was it "planned?"
Nope :) didnt even know what Kundalini was at the time.
2. What do you think triggered your awakening?
a. Was an "eastern" technique involved? ( i.e. meditation, Hatha Yoga,
I was pregnant and I had never really meditated or anything in my life and one day after talking to my father in law about out of body experiences I knew I wanted to try one and I bought the book Astral Dynamics and after trying his N.E.W. system to energize and clear chakras I had the first experience and it scared the hell out of me it was so frightning.
So I kept reading in his book looking for some answers on what was happening and I noticed a little section on Kundalini and it was talking about how dangerous and terrible it was so I quit doing any energy work at all. I had only been doing it one week and it had already but me in chaos I didnt think any good could come from it. I was so scared by what was happening I actually tried to contact the auther to tell me how to fix it :) . He never got back to me so after a few weeks it went quiet. Then about a month later it came back super strong after one calming meditation that I decided to try believing that everything that had happened was all some freak occurance. Ever since then it has been going no matter what I do. That is when I decided to look around and found this site along with a gazillion others telling me my life would end in ruins becuase of how terrible K was. And as we know I spent the first couple of years in one big panic attack :). But am now finally feeling pretty grounded thanks to all the wonderful support I have recieved from both humans on this list and non humans in my life hehehe. When I first started this list I couldnt handle it, I was only on it for maybe a month so I had to quite for several months untill I was ready to face up to everything. b. Was a strong emotion involved? Love? Fear? Pain? Despair? and if so was
prayer involved?
I really didnt have any faith in a higher source when all of this started I was in a bout of depression at the time. I never really believed in God or Goddess until this happened and now I am very spiritual.
c. Do you think heredity is implicated?
My Mother and granmother being very empathic is about all we really have in common. No one really talks too openly about this stuff I kind of broke the mold in my family. And I have to say I am soooo proud of myself I enjoy being different:) Ive never been much of a follower.d. Did you have an NDE (Near Death experience)?
No sure didnt. God knows though I cant tell you how many times I thought I was going to die in all this. But thanks to my wonderful higher sources I am still here happy and healthy to keep learning.
