The best way to know is to look within. If a person is becoming kundalini active my own k vibrates in resonance, like an internal pendulum.
I know that sometimes when prana or chi is unblocked in a person's body there are manifest corrolations in their lives. If there is transcendence or transformation on a spiritual level then maybe I would attribute that to k awakening. K's nature is that it is evolutionary...so in a 3D space we would see a movement linearly "up" in ascendence or a descending of the spirit into the body.Depending on perspective, up or down, spirit and body become merged and begin to evolve along a pathway.
Hope that helps.
Maybe some of the others can contribute.
Namaste,
Susan

Subject: Triggers revisited Poll Shakti Question Please...
I performed well over 500 energetic treatments from 1997 to the year 2000 and every one of these energetic treatments created a light and sometimes vigorous shaking which was quite evident on the subjects...could the shaking of the total body been an awakening? the shaking was not constant during the treatment ( 2 and 1/2 hr treatment ) just at intervalls, especially so when I did more energetic work with my third eye.. I can vouch that ALL my subjects experienced quite a change in their lifestyle after the treatments...curious...any thoughts?

I think my k was awake several years before I had shaktipat because
I remember feeling a rolling movement up and down my spine.
Shaktipat kick started the process into high gear. I had Shaktipat
the first week of Novemeber in 91.

See above. I had an initiation into Maharishi's TM meditation when I
was 16 but I don't know if that had anything to do with it. I didn't
practice it regularly ever and when I did I just spaced out like I
was on drugs.

No.

Not in my case. My father did remark to me once that I seem to live
a lifetime every three years or so. I am definately the alien child
in my family.

I seem to have a couple of them every ten years since I was little.
My most recent one was in 2001, January
