Subject: [K-list] Clear focused mind/meditation question

Initially it is not easy or possible to clear/empty the mind. Therefore,
my suggestion is to take one word or concept as a focal point. For
example, it could be very specific word such as "horse" or a general
concept such as "peace". Then keep the attention on the chosen target word
or concept. If there is a distraction then bring the focus back slowly and
slowly. Remember to be gentle and patient. After 20 to 30 minutes of such
focused attention (which may feel like hard work) the mind will be stilled,
quiet, clear, energised, and almost empty (apart from the chosen target).
Try the above technique and let us know what happens.
Bhavin.

Subject: Clear focused mind/meditation question
Hello,
I'm just curious to those on this list who are familiar with
meditation and "clearing the mind" especially, to just express or
describe what they feel is a clear, focus, empty, (etc. etc.) mind.
I noticed I have not been able to clear mind mind and focus as
well lately as I think I have in the past and I'm a bit muffled by
this. So I would like to spark a conversation about this, and see if
it leads me to anywhere helpful. So please, anyone who has interest
feel free to respond in any manner you feel fits.
Thanks,
Keith
