Yes that's how I've found it in two ways. In overall terms there was for me
a twenty year period of generally being 'deconstructed' which I only now
feel has come to a conclusion of sorts. I feel very much now I've been
cleared out, re-wired and starting a new slate.

However within that period it wasn't all pain and suffering and destruction.
It was a process of cycles. There were 'mini' cycles of breakdown and
renewal - at least six. Each 'breakdown' was worse than the one before,
almost as if the last one was the prepation for the next. It's like
learning a skill - beginners, intermediate, advanced in a weird kind of
parallel. And each breakdown cleared deeper and darker stuff than the
previous.

There is a design to being cleared out in my experience. It's done in
clearly designed and progressive stages - a bit at a time in a way that you
can just about handle (hopefully) although one may be taken very close to
the abyss. All at once and it would kill you. The apparent intelligence
behind the whole thing has astounded me. I learnt the hard way that I had
no option but to trust it.

I've found one book that parallels what I have been through totally and it's
'Dark Night of the Soul' by St John of the Cross.

But that was just my pattern, it's different for everyone I'm sure. Like me
though you are Scorpio Rising, and that points to periodic build up and
release of volcanic type energies as opposed to gentle progression. Like a
snake needing to shed it's skin every few years....

That's the best way I can describe it. I'll get back to you off-list in the
next few days with the contacts we discussed. Sorry for the delay but I've
been away.
