Subject: [K-list] Opinions

Although I will argue a point with fervor, and will freely call
attention to the weaknesses in the opposing point of view, I try
never to do so in anger or make it a personal attack. If I do get
personal, then please feel free to call it to my attention.
However, I don't recall having done so, nor do I feel any animosity
toward anyone on the list.

I don't cherish my opinions, and will change them if presented with
sufficient evidence to the contrary. They're not who I am. I could
sugar coat everything I say by prefixing it with "IMHO" or "I
repectfully submit", but you know when someone does that you can
expect the other shoe to drop real soon *WHAM*. It's more honest
and efficient to just state your case directly.

It saddens me that some people interpret directness and conviction
as being rude or patronizing, as that was never my intent.
