There seems to be an epidemic of control freaks nowadays, religious and
nonreligious.

The crowd following him wanted to make him a king, he responded by
disappearing as fast as he could, to a lonely mountaintop.
I don't think

Nah, I don't think helping poor diseased people in Calcutta could possibly
give anyone kicks.

Pilate, who was irreligious, basically didn't care about the religious
issues of the people he was governing. His wife had a dream warning him to
stay out of the whole thing. He wanted to free Jesus but the leaders of the
mob threatened to go to Caesar and accuse him of complicity in revolutionary
activity. Pilate was intimidated and eventually went along. He was scared
of Tiberius. Ack, politics hasn't changed much in 2000 years.
Truth is dangerous. Truth will set you free. The only

No more than the voices in my own head bother me.
