Subject: [K-list] uncommon to K

Hillary,

I looked thru the messages at SacredKundalini, I couldn't find a trace of Christianity.

What I am not sure is common to K (someone please correct me if I'm wrong), is that there is a lot of exaltation, but not much humbling. A sense of getting to the top of the spiritual pyramid, but nothing about being at the bottom.

Becoming nothing so that Everything may be in you, becoming the sacred fire yourself.

There is a lot of talk about meditation, diet and things to control K, make it better. In my experience, it came from without, it has always done its 'own thing,' I have no clue how to turn it on or off, modify or control it. As a matter of fact, the very idea of doing these things has no meaning to me.

If I meditate (prefer the term 'contemplation') it is the K (or the Divine) doing it. If a paranormal event occurs, it is due to the action of K. I am a spectator, and don't have the slightest idea how these things happen, it boggles me.

What really disturbs me, however, is seeing posts about using K to influence people, to get what you want. This is akin to spiritual rape. Of course the K in you can and will influence others, but your own will must be renounced.

Rob  Dear Rob,

Interesting that like many of us your experiences cross religious lines. :))
With at least 100 yahoo groups now listed under Kundalini, it's not surprising yours didn't get much traffic :)), especially since there is an active Christian K list at Yahoo groups called "SacredKundalini" (started in 1998 by Maureen, a previous k-list member and Christian minister.)
The third spontaneous awakening was 2 weeks ago, with no discernible event
    to accompany it.

So I guess I am here to once again try to figure out what is going on.
Still not sure if it K, some kind of variation of K, or some kind of super-K
(or special K). There seems to be much in common from the experiences I
have read about, but not everything.  It's interesting that some of us seem to go through cycles of "awakening" and then incorporating the experience into day to day life. I'm curious! What have been the experiences that you don't think are common to K?

  Love, Hillary
