    People who are introducing off topic discussions always have a lot of
reasons why they think it is not off topic. You probably have reasons for
posting it twice, too. Eric also wrote to me with all his reasons why his
petition was not off topic... and also told me that he could not be
bothered to put it on a website, or get his own list. Not in those words...
but the message was clear to me. I did not bother to respond.

    Percyval watched the towers fall from his apartment window, breathed
the dust and smoke for weeks. He is retired as a moderator, but I echo his
sentiments. druid and I cheered together when we realized we would be out
of town... off sailing for the anniversary of 9/11. Away from email, TV,
radio.

    If someone wants to make a Kundalini_911ATnospamyahoogroups.com list, go
ahead. It's free... but don't bring it up here, except to invite members.

    American politics are off topic for this list. 9/11 is off topic for
this list. Pending war on Iraq is off topic for this list. I will be away,
but we have a fabulous team of co-moderators: Hillary, Susan, Jason b and
Stephen K. all have ample power, and my thanks and blessings, to put
people on moderated status if they persist in posting off topic messages.

    Nice poetry David, as always... but you are playing savior instead of
looking for perfection in what Is? If you want to really do something,
there are plenty of activist groups that would love to have your support.
