The way to become a being of light is precisely by dealing each day with the
trials of life. We need this stuff to awaken just as a pearl needs to form
around a bit of grit. It gets a little easier when we stop trying to make
life something other than what it is.

In addition to the other good posts answering yours, I'll just add that I had
that throat thing for several months at the beginning of k-awakening. I
needed to face the truth and cry my heart open before it dissolved.

The wonderful thing about some men with narcissistic personality disorder is
that when they shine their light on you, when they need you, you feel
intoxicatingly special. But as I think you understand, their need is
bottomless and it throws you into chaos. Whatever a single, fallible human
being can give you is infinitesimal compared to what you can receive if you
direct your focus to the Source that is inside you. Make THAT the most
important thing in your life and you will find the best guidance in the world
from within. And it doesn't cost a penny! Holly
