How about this one? This seems to be happening with me a lot lately.

It's like a dream within a dream.

I had a very interesting dream... and it ended with a clever humorous twist.. I remember thinking.. "that was a really unique concept" and I determine to write this one out because it would make a poetically interesting short story. I wanted to analyze its meaning as well.

So I semi-consciously think.. I know this is a dream but, I am going to "remember" it and write it out. Then when I wake up.. all I can remember is that I had an interesting dream that I was supposed to remember...
