Yes, Marsha and Shiva. After this happened to my husband, I did a lot of
spider research online and found lots of info on brown recluses and others.
According to my research, it was not likely to have been a brown recluse, in
our part of the country. But there were others that it could have been.

Not too long after this happened, we went on vacation to our cabin in the
Ozark Mountains. When we arrived, I was immediately able to identify the
nest of spiders living in the bathtub as brown recluses. ACK! I was not a
happy camper. Literally.
