I am a dreamer too.

I have a very difficult time reading through dreams... especially when they are all one paragraph.
Because dream thoughts are never connected and the paragraphs are usually run on.

I suggest when you write it out.. try to write it so it tells a story and makes sense.. fill in the blanks a bit if you have to.. afterall you made it up in the first place.. day dream a little bit too and see if you can find some significance. It might surprise you what (logical) insights you can give yourself doing that.

( this is not a critic of yours, Keith, btw.. the story wasn't bad) But the more "complete" your storyline is, the more significance the whole experience can have for you.

I wont try to "interpret". but (in my opinion) if dreams have any significance at all they usually have some kind message about how things aren't more than are. They can be (usually are) warnings (for lack of a better word) of how things are NOT far more often than prophetic in any way.

Maybe someone more experienced could elaborate on the differerence between a dream and a vision. Like.. if you keep having the exact same one.. over and over?.. or a recurring sequence,?
..variations on a theme?

I had an uncle who was rather prophetic.. and when people would ask him what a dream they had meant.. his classic answer was, "It means that you should turn over and sleep on the other leg for a while." :-)

Threshold of a Dream

Things revealed in joy and pain

Drama's wander like a stream.

So many never come again

On the threshold of a dream.

Perceptions of a cause of joy

That sometimes seems so real

A fantasy that will employ

All the senses made to feel.

As "realities" of life unfold,

Too often is compounded grief.

What the dreamer will behold

To be untrue will bring relief.

Embraced in love as real and good;

To awaken brings a hope reserved;

A fleeting vision sweet

That could alter fate, if memory served.

On the threshold of a dream

A vivid picture soon forgot.

Nothing is quite as it seems.

Blurred paradigms of is and not.

Subject: [K-list] K Dream  Despite tensions, I thought I'd share a neat kundalini dream I had
last night. I had woken up at 4am and decided to meditate, during
which I "went deep" (for me). Probably just a light alpha hehehe but
it was nice. Anyway, after that I fell asleep and had a wonderful
dream. I was in a forest at night. And there was what I would define
as a yogi or a spiritual master or something. A guy. As he sat a fire
burned behind him, and there was a fire pit infront of him with
liquid fire at the bottom.. There were other people gathered around,
with paint on their faces and bodies, and we would test ourselves by
jumping into the pit, there was a ledge or something to grab onto,
and then jump out again. I did it untill I got it perfectly right,
and the yogi got up then. He did a complicated dance and almost flew
in and out of the fire pit. After that he bowed and I returned the
bow. Then he jumped up and dived completely into the fire pit. I
remembver vividly his body disapearing into the clear liquid fire at
the bottom. After that a painted stick and a bag decorated with beads
floated to the top of the liquid fire, which I picked up. that was
about it. I had a blast with it and woke up feeling drunk, like I
couldn't move my arms very fast cause everything was sloooooooow. So
that was my dream. Any thoughts or more sharing is very welcome!
