My husband is scheduled for a prostate biopsy. Most likely he will be fine,
but his dad died of the disease so we've always known this moment might come.
 We just didn't think it would be so soon (he's only 60). As I went to sleep
last night, I could feel my heart start to tighten off in fear. I started
ruminating on an old pattern of mine: how I think I help people to heal and
then feel abandoned by them (sometimes this is true, mostly not). My last
dream this morning involved a party with happy elderly people quietly singing:

   The world out there for me is to heal.

When I first woke up I thought, in my usual pattern, that I'd gotten the
words wrong, that the world is out there for me to heal. But then I saw that
the words were true, that everything that happens to us carries the aspect of
divinity we call healing. That healing is inherent in God's play, of which
we are the manifestation. This was so comforting to me I thought I'd pass it
