We disagree yet again. Gentle pranayama is good for pretty much everyone.
Particularly alternate nostril breathing, the chicken soup of yoga, is as
safe as can be. Everyone should do it before meditation to get the most out
of the meditation.

Finally we agree on something. Any breath retention can be dangerous. It
should only be done if feed back can be given and reviewed by someone
knowledgeable, and that isn't someone who's been doing it for a year or so.
