By projecting, no matter on what plane.. You are running away from what is
happening in your body in the present moment. Creating another fantasy, and
not giving your body
--------------------
You are wise,
Projection is a crutch- unnecessary for he who sees through the imaginary
barriers he creates.
A crutch that is not needed, not really.
You may live life without a day outside the body, and live very well.
But he who projects is not any less of a man then he who does not. The
experience does not sour or spoil him. He is not unfit for his sinning.
Asa, tonight if I sleep outside beneath the stars, in a small sleeping bag,
have I ran away from the room in the house provided for me ?
Was my intention to run from the bed, by chosing the sleeping bag.
Am I running from the light by turning to the restful dark?
Perhaps but,
Atman does not favour such things.
The ever closed hand is as crippled as the ever gripless hand. To deny one
or the other is to bring deformity. An abhoration of what is. To deny the
physical is an abhoration yes, but to say that one should deny the unworldy
(that is, traveling in planes where the body may not follow) is an equal
deformity. Neither are wrong, neither are escapes, unless you chose to
escape to them. A knife's purpose moves from tool to weapon dependant on
your guiding swing.
Projection is not escape. Your inner guidance survives movement away from
the body. Inner guidance is not blocked out by the act of projection. How
would that be possible ?
By looking at my hand am I running away from what is happening to my feet in
the present moment? If I am taking a walk and indulge in the smells of the
trees have I shunned the sights of the sunset or the sounds of the forest
animals?
No, because they exist regardless of my ignorance.
And in truth there was no ignorance to begin with, only a tempral shift in
focus, so that I may truly induldge in the sweet smells of the pine trees.
Truly, and fully. In order to move focus to the smell, I had
And is this not comparable to true existance, as opposed to a life "where
you shall laugh, but not all of your laughter, and weep, but not all of your
tears." (the prophet)
Can you Asa, see what I am trying to explain?
It's not a easy nor trivial task to put into words.
I'm sorry for that.
