I would definitely say yes. When you get a migraine it seems to speed up
your thinking ability, sometimes to the point where it can be
disorientating. It is metaphorically similar to overclocking a CPU on a
computer, at least that is how I think of it. It seems like your brain,
nervous system and blood circulation are affected in this state - like your
body's functions are being sped up. I think that you actually have the
ability to think faster when you get in this state, and this might be why
you are able to detect higher frequencies in this state. With the ability to
think faster you are able to think more and that is how it can really help
you in your creativity. Seems like ideas come easier and faster, it is a lot
like being in a trance actually. It also explains why the physical senses
might be hightened as well.

I just saw a movie called "A Beautiful Mind" about a schizophrenic
mathmetician named John Nash. I thought it was a really good movie.

 I have heard of this phenomenon. I've heard a story
 about a famous
 mathematician (can't remember the name) who suffered
 from severe migraines.
 It was after the migraine that he got his release of
 energy and burst of
 creative inspiration. He was 'cured' of the migraines,
 and subsequently
 became depressed because he couldn't reach those
 heights of consciousness
 anymore. Is this how you relate to your migraines?
