    Eh, not quite. Astral refers to the dimensional universe of the power
chakra... the universe of dreams, ghosts, visions where the power games of
free will, good and evil are played out.
    So saying that the second chakra, for example has an astral body is
inaccuate. Rastlin's terms are more accurate. There are four energy bodies,
that relate to the 4 lower chakras of individuality. The higher chakras do
relate to dimensional universes, but they are in nonduality.. no
individuality. One is all, no body needed. The universe itself, cosmic
consciousness is the body. No time and space means no travelling.

    Similarly, the fiery crystal in the core of the earth is a chakra, the
primary source of the shakti that fuels K awakening in human life on
earth... but the body of it is the planet itself and we are part of that
greater whole. We connect to it, as part of our natural energy system but
it is not personal, individual. The sun is also a chakra, but the body of
it is the sun, the solar system that Earth is a part of. The chakras above
the head relate to other centers, the sun center of the solar system, the
center of our galaxy, and the center of the universe... where the "big
bang" originated, and there is a chakra that is the spiritual center of the
universe.

    The last is a conceptualization, not actual, because how can one find
the middle of the infinite? Find the center by measuring in from the edges,
and the infinite has no boundaries.
   I have seen people advertising to open the chakras above the head for
$$, but this is silly. The chakras above the head can be opened simply by
asking for them to be opened. It is not an opening so much as a connecting
in awareness. They are not personal, so there is no personal karma to be
cleared from them.

    So... humans may have a 12 chakra system, or a 7 chakra system if you
only consider the main central chakras in the body, but of those, only 4
have an energy body that can be manipulated. In truth, the main central
channels have secondary chakras, the hands and feet have chakras, there are
thousands of chakras in the human body but most need no attention. Goddess
has it handled.
