Well, I wouldn't say a devotee, I have a great deal of respect for the man,
I study through I school in OK city which teaches kriya yoga and few other
things as well. We have one initiation before the kriya initiation and that
is the one you described. They throw in quite bit of brain anatomy in their
courses so you can tell when your getting from the pituatary to the pineal by
one of three channels. Then we light up the spine with the energy and
pranayama breathing.
