Hello all,

So I feel this compulsive need to lie on my bed and
meditative...after fighting it for a few minutes I gave...there was a
lot of pain in my body and I figured I should talk to it and figure
out what it was trying to tell me. So I lie down and tune in...and on
the ceiling to my right is a spider spinning a web!! Now I am VERY
arachnophobic...but Higher Self kicked in and told me to talk to the
spider. So I do. I ask it what it wants and why it and it's kind keep
invading my house and spinning webs on the ceiling over my bed!! It
told me 'We are attracted to excess.' So I say 'What do i have that
you want?" 'Excess." "Excess of what?' 'Pain, joy, energy. Just
excess.' 'What will you do with my excess?" 'Eat it and use it to
make webs. Our purpose is to eat excess. We eat excess insects,
excess spiders and we do not have to actually EAT the animal. Just
the excess.' 'Why do you spin webs, spider?' 'To dance, to create, to
weave together, this is how we celebrate life.' 'So if I give you
permission to stay in my house and eat my excess, what will you do
for me.?' 'Protect you.' 'From what?' 'Mostly fear. A creation of
excess. Why do you fear us? We only eat that which is not needed. We
are intuitive the balance of life.' Keep in mind, I had taken no
drugs today, but here I am talking to a spider! I asked the spider if
it was attracted to balanced individuals and it said, no, not really,
balanced people don't give off very much excess. So what does
everyone think? Has anyone had a similar experience? Or am I just
rambling outside of the demarcation of list topics? I'm just
wondering why I'm afraid of spiders, why I seem to be attracting them
in droves above my bed, and why they coincided with my *awakening.*
