Why so much red? If your presence in the small room does indeed symbolize
your physical body-centric consciousness, then consider what color you would
see if you were shrunk down (like in the movie "Fantastic Voyage") looking
around inside your body. I'm really going out on a limb here; as I said,
only you know what the dream symbols really mean. But see if that symbolism
rings true to you. As I said, I have had a lucid dream in which a large
house seemed to represent my body. There are also quotes from religious
texts with similar symbolism, e.g., "In my father's house are many
mansions", "I go to prepare a mansion..." (hope those quotes are accurate)
-- Jesus.

Since you're interested in K. (which for me has a consciousness expanding
quality as it rises) I also suggested that the skyscraper may symbolize that
expansion. Furthermore, you were going from the small room to the (big)
skyscraper, and you were recently thinking about the WTC (which your
subconscious may have conveniently used for the symbolism). I'm curious as
to what color the skyscraper lobby/atrium was :)
