The numb leg thing only happens when I lie down to nap and fall into
a hypnagogic state. When I "wake up," my right thigh is numb for a
few seconds. It wakes right up quickly. Not connected with the toe
thing, which is more recent and has only happened a few times when
I'm falling asleep at night, (which is when lots of
interesting/alarming energy usually kicks in).

I had sciatic problems when I was pregnant. I was the size of a
house and one leg or the other would suddenly give out. I didn't
dare walk across a room without holding desperately on to the
furniture!
